Kotor to Skadar Lake — Is It Worth the Drive?

Kotor is roughly 90 minutes from Virpazar on a good day, and closer to two hours in high season. A day trip is entirely doable — but only worth it if you commit to a specific plan and leave the walls before the cruise ships wake up.

Getting to Skadar Lake from here

90 minutes to 2 hours depending on the Budva bypass and Sozina tunnel traffic.

Highlights

  • Combine with a short stop at Sveti Stefan viewpoint on the way
