- Half-day south (4 hours): Virpazar, southern bays, Beška or Moračnik monastery, swim at a hidden pebble beach.
- Full-day all-over-the-lake (5–6 hours): both — plus the eastern shore, wild swim stops and the far monastery. This is the trip you'll remember.

For two people, a 4-hour southern private tour at €180 works out to €90 each — the same as many advertised "premium" group experiences that pack 20 strangers onto one boat.
Why private beats group at almost every group size
At 2 people the per-head premium is 40–60%. At 4 people it drops to zero. At 6 it's cheaper per head than a group tour. Combined with the fact that you actually see the lake, the math is one-sided.

- Book directly with a Virpazar operator, not through a Budva beach kiosk
- Ask which boat you'll be on — a fair operator will tell you
- Confirm whether parking is included (it should be)
- Confirm the exact route in writing
- In July / August, book 2+ weeks ahead for sunset slots
What the day feels like
Arrive 15 minutes early, park in the reserved lot, meet the skipper at the pier. You leave immediately — no waiting for other passengers. First hour: open water and Grmožur. Second: quiet southern bays, a swim, coffee at a monastery. Third and fourth: the parts of the lake most visitors never see. You're back at the pier tired, sun-drunk and glad you didn't do the €20 group tour.
